Music
Aid 2009 will be one of the
biggest music events of the year involving
millions of music lovers and fans around the
world and all the major social networking and video
websites such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube etc.
Bands, songwriters and singer/songwriters from
every country are invited to take part and
enter their songs and music videos - every style
and type of music is welcome. The event supports causes such Children in Need and also
promotes awareness of the many ways we can work
together to combat the climate crisis. It
will be similar to the International Music
Awards of past years but much bigger and with an exciting new

bands, songriters, singer/songwriters and solo
artists are invited to join in and enter their
songs in this unique competition. Thousands of fans and music lovers around the world
will act as judges to help choose the
winners of Music Aid 2009.
To be part of this event add your email to the
mailing list using the
subscription box at the top of the page. When we
launch you will be sent an invitation email.
There will be various categories such as: Best
Band, Best Songwriter, Best Female Solo Artist,
Best Male Solo Artist, Best Live Gig and Best
Video Production. All entries must be in video
format and this can be anything from a very basic
photo or graphic over your mp3 track to a full
blown video production. Details and tips on how
to make a simple video for your song, and links
to free and very easy to use music video making resources, will be on
the site when we start accepting entries.
Everyone will be able to watch, listen and vote
for their favorite songs and artists. Song
entries will be networked and available and
viewable on the world's most popular websites
reaching many millions of music fans worldwide. The winners will
be chosen by fans and the general public. This
is a unique and exciting opportunity for new talent to
reach a huge international audience and be seen
and discovered by top executives in the music
industry.

MUSIC AID |
The Music Aid Organization was launched in 1998
and together with the World Music Foundation it
then worked for eight years with the United
Nations UNV project in the areas of poverty
relief and education. Since its launch the Music
Aid Organization has provided resources and
opportunities for musicians worldwide, provided
schooling and support for poor children in
developing countries, helped and supported
thousands of people wishing to enter the music
industry, distributed free musical instruments,
promoted and supported music benefit events and
CDs and helped fund and administer worthwhile
projects on three continents.
